About Maura McGovern

Maura McGovern DPT, ATC

Maura received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her post graduate doctorate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Maura is a licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Maryland by the Board of Medical Examiners. She also holds a certified athletic trainer certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Maura is currently a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Having duel credentials in physical therapy and athletic training allows Maura to treat a wide variety of patients combining her sports medicine background with her orthopedic physical therapy specialization.
