Maura McGovern

Maura received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her post graduate doctorate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Maura is licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Maryland by the Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Maura is currently a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Having dual credentials in physical therapy and athletic training allows Maura to treat a wide variety of patients combining her sports medicine background with her orthopedic physical therapy specialization.
